The last month has just flown by and we have had so many fun things going on! Pyper turned 6 mo. old and is such a big girl! Cooper loves to entertain her and no one can make her laugh like he does! Seriously, is there anything better in this world than watching your kids play together, laugh together, and just have so much fun together? Pyper has started eating rice cereal and pears. LOL! Poor girl gags to death every time the spoon enters her mouth. And Cooper seems to want anything at all she is eating. Who knew he'd be so happy to go back to eating bland rice cereal. Dinner time has become quite the event at our house and we love it!
One of Cooper's all time favorite things to do right now is read. I love this one on one time we get to have together. He points to the animals on the page, and I do my best to make every animal sound out there. But I am pretty stumped on a few....for example, what does a giraffe say? And how on earth am I supposed to sound like an elephant!?!? =0)
This was just a random moment one day. I was trying clothes on the Coopster to find something cute for his 1 yr old photos. Awwww.....he's such a cutie!
A few weeks ago we took a much needed vacation to San Diego. I think this spot on the map may be our favorite place on earth! We had so much fun at the Zoo and Sea World. Fun memory.....as we were entering the Zoo to purchase our tickets, a cute old man approached us and asked if we had already bought our tickets. We said no, and asked him if we were in the right line. He winked at us and said "I have a membership here and my kids get in free with me. YOU'RE MY KIDS TODAY. Follow me." He pushed us right up to the teller and thru the ticket line. Told the man we were with him, then mentioned we ought to see the Pandas, they were his favorite. LOL. He totally got us in free. This sweet man made my whole day! He was just looking for some way to help someone out. I so want to be more like that!
Cooper is such a little flirt! He can't help it but draw attention to himself. He waves at all the ladies and throws out the most heart melting smiles. When we were watching the giraffes he had this cute girl going all goo goo for him! The whole crowd sat and watched these two flirt. It was so cute!
Pyper was such a sweetie, as usual. She is so even tempered all the time, just as chill as can be. I just adore this little "bug".
Of everything we got to do on vacation, going to the beach was our fav. Cooper LOVED to splash in the waves and we all got soaked. It was so funny tho....he is terrified of the sand. I don't know if it's a texture thing or what, but if you get him anywhere near it he will scream bloody murder.
We were taking a walk along the beach one morning and we saw this. A navyman doing guard duty on the beach. Man! Erick! Why did you join the Army? The Navy could have been so cool! We could LIVE in San Diego. Guard Duty at the beach? What were we thinking?!?! =0)
Enough vacation mumbo jumbo...check this out! Pyper had her 1st hair cut! I wish I would have remembered to do a BEFORE shot instead of just an after. So let me explain....this adorable little thing had the WORST rat tail growing on the back of her head! I don't know why it took me so long to cut it off! LOL! It was at least 2 inches long. Big sigh. I'm glad we got that taken care of =0)
Hee Hee Hee! She seriously melts me. I'm slightly obsessed.
My two handsomes...the one on the right sporting a tie courtesy of Grandma. So darling!
Lil' Miss Pyper popped out two teeth this month! Who knew she was teething? =0) We sure didn't. She is so chill....I'm telling you. She is the sweetest thang. All of a sudden she has two adorable teeth on the bottom. I loved this picture. All day she just snuggled up with these two teddies and sucked on her fingers, working hard to get those 'teefies'.
Here she is trying rice cereal for the very first time. I can't believe she is such a big girl!
CHECK OUT THESE SCORPIONS! Found on our front porch! AHHHH!!!! Thank heavens for Erick, I don't know what I would've done to kill these babies. They were huge. Thanks to TERMINIX we haven't seen anymore!
We had such a fun visit from the Grandmas! My mom and my grandma came to town and we couldn't have loved it more! We miss you already! Thanks for spending so much time with the kiddos! They LOVED playing blocks and peek a boo with you, reading stories, and snuggling. It was so nice to have a few extra hands around too! You guys were amazingly helpful and generous. We love you!
And last but certainly not least, is LT. Lund. We've been filling out paper work and more paper work to get the ball rolling for our next phase of life....the ARMY. The Army has been good to us and has helped Erick through school. We are so excited to find out where we get to live for the next few yrs of his service. We won't find out for quite a few months, but with all the paperwork, we can't help but think about it. Man I hope it's Hawaii! =0) Wahoo!
Dang I'm a lucky girl!
