West to East

The last two months have been CRAZY GREAT!  It has been such an ADVENTURE moving our little family ACROSS the COUNTRY.  Here's a massive post of all we've been up to.  This post starts with what's most recent and back tracks to May.

We have been LOVING exploring all the fun things about South Carolina.  From the ZOO to the OCEAN and the FROGS in our back yard!

Cooper got a kick out of feeding the giraffes.
Our Zoo is so awesome!  It's shaded almost the whole way through and there are so many perfect little things for kids Coop and Pyp's age to do.  We LOVED it!
Their favorite thing of the day was the "Choo Choo" ride.  They wanted to go again and again.
Pyper loved feeding the GOATS and Cooper learned how to milk a cow.

A HUGE VICTORY at our house last week was retiring the BINKIS.  Cooper named his binki "BOBO" early on and the name stuck.  The kids have always only been allowed to have their 'bobos' for naps and bedtime but we thought it was time to be done with them for good.  We explained to the kids that they were 'BIG KIDS' now, and didn't need their BOBOS anymore.  They both walked over to the GARBAGE and threw them away.  Then, we walked outside to the big garbage as a family, threw out the garbage bag, and said BYE BYE to the BOBOS.  When the kiddos went back inside they had a new pillow pal waiting for them to have something special for bedtime.  It worked like a charm!

There are some fun big parks and old neighborhoods and beautiful places to see here.  The next few pics are us just exploring this gorgeous state!

The BEACH isn't too far away and we have already taken full advantage!  The kids LOVE the WARM WATER and the SOFT SAND.  I love the FRESH AIR and SUNSHINE.  Here's a sneak peak of my growing belly.  Can't wait for our little man to come in September!

Erick has been busy making our house a home and doing all the MANLY PROJECTS that need doing.  He's had a handsome little helper too.  Cooper LOVES playing with daddy's TOOLS and helping him in the yard.

Here's a pic of one of the many little frogs we have found bouncing away in our yard.  You can imagine the sheer joy the kiddos have chasing around these little cuties.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!  Erick was dubbed KING OF THE DAY and the kids did their very first finger painting project for him.  We LOVE this man.  He is such a FUN dad and devotes so much TIME to PLAYING with and TEACHING his children.

This is our beautiful home we feel so lucky to have!  It's so green and gorgeous here and we love having so much space to run and play.

Erick wins MAN OF THE YEAR award for driving all our stuff across the country by HIMSELF!  He handled it like the STUD that he is but had a few minor dilemas....like a flat tire and loosing his wallet and favorite sun glasses.  All in all, he made it to SC in one peace!  Wahoo!

GOOD BYE sweet AZ home.  It was so bittersweet to see this place EMPTY as can be.

The next few pics are some of our last memories in AZ.  The kids LOVED helping DAD wash the MOTORCYCLE.  It was way past BEDTIME but we couldn't help the barefooted water fight that ensued.  It ended up in SOAKED pajamas and BLACK FEET!  I'll never forget that night and all the giggles and squeals filling the air.

We loved seeing all our friends at Erick's GRADUATION DINNER.  We miss them dearly but are so excited for all the adventures to come!

GRADUATION DAY was filled with so much EMOTION!  I couldn't be more PROUD of Dr. Lund!  He has worked SO HARD for so many years and we are so so so so so so PROUD OF HIM!  WAY TO GO EEK!  YOU DID IT!
We were so glad to have Hank and Wyoma there to share the moment.  Thanks again Mom and Dad for coming and for all your HELP getting us safely to SC!  WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Just two weeks before the move both kids got sick.  We thought for sure they had the CHICKEN POX and were a little baffled that their VACCINES didn't work.  They were covered in SPOTS from head to toe and were as MISERABLE as could be.  4 WKS later, Cooper's TOENAILS and FINGERNAILS  all started falling off!  AHHHH!!!!  This freaked me out a little.  Come to find out, they had a nasty case of HAND FOOT and MOUTH disease, and though it's not super common, it can also cause your nails to fall off.  So I guess my faith in the POX VACCINE has been renewed. =0)

We LOVED having a weekend with my parents and just hanging out and having fun.  We laughed our heads off at the kids and enjoyed good food and good times.  My parents were so helpful when the kids started to get sick and we were so thankful for a few extra hands.  Love you and miss you!!!

Whew!  That was a lot of catching up!  Now that we are settled and the craziness is calming down I really do hope to blog a little more about the joys and adventures we are up to.  We are so excited for Erick's new job and we can't wait to meet our little man in september!  We feel like the happiest people in the world.  We are so blessed!
